Military heroes and first responders each and every day.
We have raised money to help sick children and their families, helped Gold Star families with many different things they need.
We have brought dogs for visits to nursing homes just to make the residents smile and much more.
Our passion, our LOVE, our goal is to help make people and animals happy!!!
If you have a special child that we can help, contact us. If you are a Military hero or first responder and we can help you, contact us.
Gold Star Families please reach out if we can help you.
Touching the Lives of Americans™
Mission and Purpose Statement
Our mission and purpose is to enhance the lives of Veterans {and their families} with disabilities by providing them with a trained service dog/emotional support dog to help them increase their independence in every day life.
This includes Veteran heroes whom have lost limbs or have P.T.S.D. {Post Traumatic Stress Disorder} T.B.I'S {Traumatic Brain Injuries} and NEED the unconditional LOVE and SUPPORT from a dog. Kids and other family members as well as the Veteran hero as P.T.S.D. is a family disease.
ALL of the dogs in our program come from City/County impound facilities.
Our Vision
To have a sanctuary where Veterans can come too and have them be
included in the training of the dogs.
A place where he/she can feel safe and LOVED while learning about
his/her dog and have them involved in the training process.
Picture in your mind’s eye, a sanctuary for an endless variety of
beautiful creatures. A virtual rainbow of love.
Dogs, cats, birds, donkeys, pot-bellied pigs, pygmy goats, horses or any other animal deserted, abused, neglected, discarded, and rescued from various places and situations.
A place where Veterans can go to after they have received
care at a treatment center, when they need further treatment
for their P.T.S.D. or T.B.I injuries.
A sanctuary surrounded by animals that just want to be
loved and give love.
This facility will be a safe place where returning Veterans
can go to be re-trained to learn a new trade such as dog
grooming, working in a Veterinary hospital,
dog training/behaviorist thus getting them ready to re~enter
the work force with a new trade.
To have a sufficient number of employees to manage a
growing organization.
To be financially independent.
To provide as many Veteran families {Gold Star Families} as possible, with a trained service/emotional support dog under the definition of the Americans with Disability Act

Abby and Benny
Abby is such a special little girl. The first time I meet her I knew she was special.
Both her mom and dad were in the Military serving our Country. A true "GOLD STAR FAMILY"
As we were discussing the project with her mom Mylee, she came up to me and said, "Miss Joy, can you help me get a service dog for my daddy because he had really bad P.T.S.D.?"
So as I held back tears all I could do was say yes sweetheart we will find daddy a dog
and train that doggy for daddy.
This is a special video of Abby and her mom Mylee and us.
I have to admit it was so hard to keep this secret from Abby and we were all in on it.
I almost lost it during this video.
This is one very special and amazing kid!!!
Abby has done a great job with her Benny dog... hummmm maybe Abby will be a trainer for Touching the Lives of Americans one day!!!
